Creating RAT Server Application

First step is creating your RAT Server Application; go to "Server/Create Server EXE" (or press F12 on keyboard) in main menu and fill in Server Creation Form. When you're done press "Create EXE" button and that's it. Now you have to execute exe file you just made on the computer you want to administrate. When Server Application is executed for the first time it displays Error message that file is damaged while it's being installed on that computer and ads itself to auto-run list so it will be executed every time Windows starts. Now you can erase EXE file because Server is installed it is no needed any more. When remote computer connects to the internet server will send ICQ Page to ICQ UIN (Note: if you don't have ICQ account go to www.icq.com and download free pager because you will really need it) you entered when you created Server Application. That ICQ Page will contain Server's IP address, Server port and your password - everything you need to get connected.

Connecting with RAT Server

To connect with RAT Server you have to know three things about it. IP address (usually different every time user connects to the internet), server port (default is 12321) and server password (default blank). Then you can connect directly from RAT Control Center, or you can use ANY other program that supports WinSocket connections such as Windows Telnet (you can find it on every Windows machine), Hyper Terminal, or some similar programs on any platform, but then you are unable to receive files from Server. RAT Control Center is the most suitable for controlling RAT Server. You can easily manage reveived files, save your favorite commands and easily call them and much more. In main menu go to "Server/Server Options" (or press F10 on keyboard) to enter Server information I mentioned. You can use "Auto send password" option if you wish Control Center to send your password immediately after connecting with RAT Server saving you a few seconds of life. If connection was successful you will receive welcome message from server and you are ready to go, otherwise you'll get Error message. Connection from other programs is very similar. When you connect to remote address on given port RAT Server will ask you for password. After you enter your password you can continue your session with server. To get list of available RAT commands type HELP command when you are connected with RAT Server. To execute command on the Server (of course, you must be connected) you have to type it in Edit box and press <Enter> on your keyboard or button "Send". You can practice on your computer first. Install Server and connect to it using Default Server Opitons in Control Center (you can use 127.0.0.1, loopback or localhost for address) and try working with RAT. When you're done you can remove Server using "Tools/Remove Server" in Control Center.
